Thanks to Thursday’s dump of snow, city crews have shifted into full snow removal operations.
Crews are already out clearing the streets and after today’s snow has completely fallen, the city says crews will clear all Priority one routes (main roads, downtown, priority hills, the hospital, school zones, and civic facilities) and priority two routes (arterial and industrial roads) within 48 hours and when they finish, they will move onto Priority Three routes.
The city says side walk machines have been out all night and will continue working today.
5 to 10 cm is still forecast to fall in Prince George, adding up to around 25 cm.
