Prince George residents may see more boats on the Fraser River this week.
The local Husky Refinery is conducting training exercises starting today, which includes water rescue and spill response.
A floating boom may also be noticeable to the public eye.
In a statement, Husky PG says these training exercises are conducted on a regular basis to test and improve response times, while coordinating with local services.
The light oil refinery company will wrap up it’s training tomorrow (Friday).
