WATCH:
A first-of-its-kind program for PG is ensuring safety for children and relief for parents.
Operation KidSafe is a program that takes a child’s picture and scans finger-prints onto a sheet of paper for parents to have on-hand.
If a child is abducted, they can give the document to the police, which could increase the odds of finding them.
“It means I’ve got things in place in case the unforgiven happens, and hopefully it means that if any kids do go missing, it’s a lot easier for them to be found. Personally, I think we live in a pretty safe community, but at the same time, I got to be as safe as I can with my kids.”
