Over 2,700 evacuees are calling Prince George their temporary home.
According to the City of Prince George, the total doubled during the weekend as the city had 1,300 evacuees registered as of Friday morning.
Anyone staying with friends or family can register at the Emergency Reception Centre to receive support for services such as food vouchers.
Evacuees with RV’s can also register and access spaces at local campgrounds.
The City is also working with Quesnel, Williams Lake, and Fort St John to see if any additional motel and hotel rooms are available.
