Powder King Ski Resort has slightly opened up its hill for the new winter season.
Owner Jim Salisbury says this weekend is the typical full start of the winter season, but they are still waiting for just a bit more snow:
“I think we are looking at average snowfalls for this time of year, it’s the third weekend in November which is our typical opening weekend. We are just waiting for one last little cycle and we should be good to go!”
Salisbury says the hill has limited run availability for this weekend. He says they should open before the end of the month, but doesn’t want to get everyone too excited, saying they are still cautiously optimistic.
