Tavin Grant has been informed he won’t be one of the three 20-year-olds on the Prince George Cougars 2018-19 roster.
The Cougars cut Grant, who was the team’s starting goaltender for most of last season.
He appeared in 37 games and posted a record of 13-17-1, in addition to a .892 save-percentage (SV%) and a 3.74 goals-against-average (GAA).
The Cougars plan to go with 17-year-old Taylor Gauthier as their main guy in net.
This will be Gauthier’s second season with the team.
The Cougars organization would like to thank Tavin for his dedication to the team and wishes him all the best in his future hockey endeavours.#WHL #CityofPG
