A Prince George resident has been appointed to the BC Arts Council board.
Jose Delgado-Guevara is a concert master for the PG Symphony Orchestra and owner of Delgado strings.
Before moving to Canada, Delgado spent time with orchestras in the US and Europe.
He spent six years in the states before deciding to move to the Northern Capital.

Out of the five newly appointed members, Delgado is the only northern resident.
Between 2017 and 2018, the BC Arts Council provided $24 million to more than 200 communities to help artist and culture organizations.
