A Prince George family is reaching out to the public for help with expenses while their father goes through multiple surgeries.
James Flynn was diagnosed with tonsillitis and put on penicillin when, a couple of days later, his face started to swell up. After a CT scan, he was found with a blood clot in his neck. A second round of surgery was needed and it was determined that the breathing tube had swelling around it.
He is now on a ventilator and has to be fed through a tube.
James has recently started a new job where he doesn’t have enough time built for EI. He has been in intensive care since July 7th.
The family is trying to raise funds so James’s wife can remain at home to watch the kids and visit him in the hospital. The kid’s age range from five to 16 and aren’t sure what the situation is with their father.
With school coming up and all five kids going back, the family is hoping to provide 10 pairs of shoes, fice backpacks, and all the supplies the teachers have put on the list.
Their GoFundMe page is trying to reach $5,000.
