Prince George artists have a chance to leave their mark on the Plaza Parkade.
The City is looking for local artists to submit a design for a painting that will be put on the alcove walls of the parking lot located on 5th Avenue and Queensway Street.
The space available is roughly five meters by 13 meters per side and the mural can be one continuous piece or a series of smaller cutouts.
The project is sponsored by the BC Northern Real Estate Board as a gift to the city to mark their 50th anniversary.
The winner of the bid will receive $8,000 to be used for fees and costs.
The deadline for the submission is August 30 and the winner will be announced in September.
