PG transit offering lower fare for Canada Day

BC Transit in Prince George is celebrating Canada Day by offering $1 fares for all routes this Sunday.

Passengers can choose to pay the special fare or donate a non-perishable food item to the Salvation Army instead.

Bus routes will run on a regular Sunday schedule, with extended service on routes 15 UNBC/Downtown, 46 Queensway, 88 Westgate and 89 Hart.

Regular fares will resume July 2nd.
