RCMP arrested and charged a Prince George resident with sexual assault and forcible confinement.
On Sunday, officers received a report claiming a female sex worker was forcibly confined and sexually assaulted.
Within an hour of the report, investigators were able to locate the 57-year-old man who has since been charged by the BC Prosecution Service.
He has been held in custody since his arrest and will appear in court later today.
