Flooding near Mackenzie | Drive BC & Google Maps

UPDATE – 11AM:

Heavy rainfall over the past few days has forced a partial closure of Highway 97 north of Prince George.

According to Transportation BC, a mix of rain and mud has plugged a culvert along the Pine Pass, more than 20 kilometres north of the Highway 39 junction to Mackenzie.

Water has now covered a large section of road 500-metres south of Honeymoon Creek Bridge.

Single lane-alternating traffic is only getting by and Drive BC is advising commuters to use caution in the area.
