Today is the first day of the Prince George Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign.
Salvation Army Business Coordinator Bill Glasgow says they have big goals;
“Our goal is $250,000. We’ve historically had no problem hitting that, although last year we were a little bit short because we had some trouble getting volunteers. So we hope to get more people out ringing the bells.”
If you would like to volunteer as a bell ringer call the hotline at 250-569-HOPE.
There will be 12 donation locations spread across PG at Save on Foods, Costco, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drugmart and the Spruceland and Pine Centre Malls.
Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
