UNBC basketball will hit the hardwood courts in the Fall to start their 2018-19 campaigns.
The Timberwolves will start on the road, October 26th and 27th, at Mount Royal University (MRU) against the Cougars.
The home opener at the Northern Sports Centre is scheduled for November 2nd and 3rd against the Winnipeg Wesmen.
Both the men’s and women’s teams are coming off their best regular season finishes since joining U-Sports and the Canada-West Conference in 2012.
The squads also got their first taste of playoff action in school history.
The men finished at an even 10-10, which was followed by a wild-card playoff win over Winnipeg for their first-ever post-season victory.
The Lady T-Wolves racked up a record of 9-11, enough to see their first playoffs, but eventually lost to their match with Winnipeg in the wild-card.
