Candi-dating forum sees Councillors looking for the "love"

A new concept by the Prince George Public Library aims to match up potential council hopefuls with members of the public.

A speed dating theme is set for tonight, as council candidates will be looking to win the love of the voters.

Chief Librarian Janet Marren talks about why they decided to switch things up:

“We knew that there were going to be quite a few candidates forums in the city, and we thought we’d try a little bit of a different forum for people who might like to ask a direct question of a candidate but may not feel comfortable doing it in a large crowd”

The Candi-dating forum will kick off at 6:45 pm in the Keith Gordon room of the Public Libraries downtown branch.
