Prince George looks to be on track to pass the number of illicit overdose deaths of 2017.
Last year the City saw 22 overdose deaths and currently, just four months into 2018 PG is sitting at 17.
Averaging about 4 deaths a day.
The BC Coroners Services did show an 18 per cent decrease in April compared to the same time last year and a 23 per cent drop in April compared to May.
The top three townships effected remain Vancouver, Surrey, and Victoria, with PG tied with Kamloops at 4th.
In April 2018 there were 124 suspected drug overdoses across BC.
