PG AIR hosting free public session on current air preserving trends

PG Air Improvement Roundtable (PG AIR)

The Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable (PG AIR) is kicking off its second annual North Central BC Clean Air Forum today.

The two-day event is bringing in local industries and residents from across the region, as well as provincial leaders in air quality management.

A recent report from PG AIR suggests the City’s air is getting better to breathe, thanks to a 40% decline in dust from 2011 to 2016, but the organization is encouraging the public to chip in as well.

Tonight features a public information session on current air quality management trends for residents wishing to create a better environment, and discussions on how the community can set its own future goals in the field.
