The gateway entrance to downtown, along Victoria Street and 20th Avenue, is lighting up.

The City of Prince George is partnering with Northern Development Initiative Trust and the Gateway Business Improvement Area to bring aesthetic and sustainable upgrades.

There will be 43 faded streetlight poles replaced with more decorative poles and efficient LED lights.

New flowerpot hangers and uplighting are also being installed lining Victoria and 20th to accent the trees and concrete planters.
