Prince George residents are being asked to come out for a school board forum this evening to hear out all potential candidates and incumbents.
There are currently 18 candidates vying for a total of 7 trustee seats, and Prince George teachers association president Tina Cousins explains how important this year will be for the future:
“I think public education has been in the media, and that teachers have gone through a long period of time, 12 years, fighting with the Provincial Government. I think our issues are out in the public and we’re looking for champions for public education”
The forum takes place at the Vanier Hall, starting Tuesday night at 7 pm.
