The College of New Caledonia’s (CNC) Board of Governors has appointed a new Chair and Vice-Chair in Prince George.
The decision was made at the April 20th, 2018, Annual General Meeting.
Gil Malfair, the now former Vice-Chair Prince George, is the new Chair.
He has served on the CNC Board since December 2016.
Malfair replaces Lee Done, who stepped down but will remain on the Board of Governors.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to Lee Doney for his leadership,” said Malfair in a statement.
“The professionalism, talent and passion of the College of New Caledonia’s Board members is admirable and I am proud to chair a board that has dedicated so much time and effort to ensuring CNC is the best institution it can be.”
The new Vice-Chair Prince George is Dan Marcotte; he has been on the Board since February 2017.
Vice-Chair Region Mary Sjostrom was reappointed to her position at the meeting, which she has held since April 2016.
