WATCH:
The City of Prince George bestowed The Freedom of the City award onto the Rocky Mountain Rangers over the weekend.
This tradition dates back to ancient Rome, which gives military units the privilege to march into a city with drums beating and colours flying.

The Freedom of the City award is the highest honour council can give on an organization.
