Council has approved the first two readings of a rezoning application near the YMCA along Massey Drive.
That’s where the new Fire Hall #1 is proposed to the built and this application is the next step of the process.
Residents voted 82.79% in favour of the new Fire Hall last year during the referendum that also included the Four Seasons Leisure Pool.
The hall is currently in its early stages of development with construction set to begin in 2019.
