Prince George top five fundraiser for Dry Grad in 2018

The BC Liquor store customers, located in the Pince Centre mall, has raised $5,665 for Dry Grad.

This years campaign ran from March 4th to the 31st, and raised a total of $278,158 to go to school districts. The money is then given to public high schools that are planning alcohol-free graduation activities.

BC Liquor Store customers have helped around 52,000 grade 12 students, as part of the annual Support Dry Grad campaign.

“The response clearly demonstrates the level of commitment from our customers and employees to keeping alcohol out of the hands of minors, and encouraging them to participate in safe, fun and memorable graduation celebrations,” says Liquor Distribution Branch general manager and CEO Blain Lawson.

The campaign started back in 2001 and has now raised more than $6.77 million.
