There might have been some wet snow around Prince George Tuesday morning, but Environment Canada says you probably won’t need to bundle up on Hallowe’en, but you should have an umbrella handy.
Meteorologist Andre Besson says Friday night should only get down to a low of five degrees, with a a chance of showers.
“The best chance of flurries would be Sunday morning, where we have a slight chance of flurries,” he says. “Those flurries should turn into showers later in the day.”
Besson notes it’s is complicated to know for sure, depending on when the weather system comes through; if the city gets the precipitation overnight it will come as light snow, though if it comes later, it will fall as rain.
“We don’t expect any accumulation at this point,” Besson says. “We expect any snow to be wet and mixed with rain.”
Besson says October has been under a warm spell and that trend is expected to continue for the next few days.
