“I’ve been residing in Prince George and Dawson Creek now for about 24 years. I have a really unique perspective on the northern communities, I have done a lot of practice in most of the court rooms in Northern BC. I understand the people here, I understand the issues that face the people here, and the communities here.”

“As a provincial court judge you’re doing criminal law, family law, small claims law,” added Leven. “You are dealing with disputes of all sorts and I have experience in all of those areas and looking forward to putting that to practice as a judge.”

Leven will be assigned provincial judge in Northern BC, he would prefer to be located somewhere in the Peace Region.

The other two appointed is Jeremy Guild and Kristen Mundstock.
