The “Move Up Prince George” campaign has been running since the end of August, and so far response from across the country has been overwhelmingly positive.
Initiatives Prince George’s Heather Oland says they’ve already seen several relocations due to their campaigning efforts:
“We know of three, one is a machinist from Edmonton, and one is in the Communications field actually, they are a direct result of them seeing the Move Up Prince George Campaign and employers being fortunate enough to hire new people who’ve moved to the city”
Oland also mentioned, IPG has picked up a Bronze excellence and economic development award from the International Economic Development Organization for their outstanding contributions to the community.
