CN workers closing Pine Pass for avalanche control

Highway 97 north of Prince George will experience a minor closure this morning.

This is due to CN workers conducting avalanche control in an effort to prevent future incidents.

According to Drive BC, operations will be taking place eight kilometres north of the Pine Pass summit and 12 kilometres south of Callahazon Creek.

Workers will start at 11:30AM weather permitting.
