Evan DeBrouwer has committed to the Arizona State University Sun Devils (NCAA Division 1) for the 2018-19 season.
The Prince George Spruce Kings goaltender finished the 2017-18 season with a 26-14-4 record to go along with a 2.24 GAA, a 0.920 save-percentage, and three shutouts.
DeBrouwer, who just turned 21, is a finalist for the BCHL Top Goaltender Award after he played the second most minutes in the league.
Prince George acquired him in a trade last year with the Nanaimo Clippers.
The Spruce Kings, who finished first in the Mainland Division, open the playoffs Friday at home against the Chilliwack Chiefs.
