The most innovative and proactive brain injury association in Western Canada is celebrating a milestone.
The Prince George brain injured group (BIG) is celebrating 30 years of service to people living with brain injuries.
“It was actually a family member of somebody who had a brain injury and had to move to Vancouver to get services. That family decided they needed to get something going here.”
– BIG Executive Director Alison Hagreen
BIG is the largest brain injury society in all of BC, serving about 2,000 people.
