The Copper Pig is getting ready to re-open its doors.
Owner Tyler Burbee says tickets are going on sale as of noon Friday for its grand re-opening October 25th.
“The restaurant is put back together, it’s a little bit different, a little bit new, we wanted to keep it the same, but we changed a few little things,” he says. “What are the surprises? Well, you’ll have to come downtown and see.”
A fire back in May a few doors over had forced the restaurant to close.
“From day one, we had people outside the restaurant with brooms and shovels willing to help us that were never even regular guests, we had never seen them in the restaurant before, so that was amazing,” Burbee says. “All the way up to this weekend, where we have to move our stuff back into the restaurant, we have people, volunteers, that want to help us. The support is amazing, absolutely amazing.”
Tickets are $25 and space is limited.
“A ticket gets you a seat, we can only fit 100 people in the restaurant, so we’ve got to make sure that everybody has a seat and they know they’re going to have a seat,” he says. “We’re going to have live music by Sound Addiction, we’re also going to be doing a full pig roast, there will be a complimentary menu that we’re putting together just for you.”
Tickets are cash only and available outside of the Copper Pig at 363 George St.
