Northland Auto Group is sharing the love today as they donate two vehicles, once again, to the 2018 Relay For Life event.
Both they and AutoCanada are giving registered participants a chance to enter in a draw to win a new vehicle for every $500 raised by a participant.
Coordinator for Relay For Life Aimee Cassie says the chance for people to win a car will help with the challenges they’ve faced since moving venues from Masich to the Exhibition Place.

“We had outgrown Masich. We essentially got to the point where we couldn’t continue to expand the event, parking being a huge thing, so with this new venue comes a lot more opportunity in front of us.”
Now with the event held at the Exhibition Place people will be able to park their RV’s and stay longer, along with getting their power requirements to help with getting electricity to the tents.
Cassie added the extension of Northlands sponsorship will help with generating more people to take part in the event.
“It’s all around a great cause,” says Dealer Principal Peter Sia. “You get to walk, raise money, and win a car at the same time. Last year we actually had an eight or nine-year-old kid who won the car.”
Prince George has been number one for four consecutive years, generating $570,000 last year.
This years event has also changed the date to June 9th to 10th.
