CNC hosting Diwali celebration

The College of New Caledonia is asking everyone to come out and enjoy a night full of entertainment, spectacular lighting, and good food.

The Diwali festival is a holiday in India that honours light over dark and good over evil, and with a large Indian community at the CNC they are leading the organization of the event which takes place at the Hart Crown Banquet Hall tomorrow evening.

Anwen Roberts with Communication Services says the diversity the festival brings is great for Prince George:

“So it’s a great opportunity for not only the Indian community to get together, but also for non-Indian people in the city to come together and experience new culture and meet other people and mingle and just kind of learn, and have fun while they do it”

It all gets under at 5:30 pm, and tickets are available at the door or at Dana Mandi Indian Cuisine.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
