A blast of winter is underway in Prince George and Northern BC.
According to Environment Canada, we could be seeing as much as 30 centimetres of snow with the expected arctic front.
“Bus routes, the hospital district and downtown will be our main focus. Should the snow stop than restart again, and we get another threshold event, we would most likely go back and restart the priorities one and two.”
City Roads & Fleet Manager, Blake McIntosh
Highways 97 and 16 can expect compact snow and blustery conditions, and drivers are encouraged to take extra pre-cautions.
