WestJet delays Prince George – Calgary direct routes

People in the northern capital will have to wait until summer to fly directly to and from Calgary.

WestJet has announced the delay due to Pacific Coastal Airlines’ inability to meet the operational requirements.

“WestJet apologizes to our guests for the inconvenience these delays may cause,” said WestJet Vice-President Network Planning, Alliances, and Corporate Development, Brian Znotins, in a statement.

“Impacted guests are being offered several different options including alternative transportation to Calgary to embark on their travel from there, obtaining a full refund or changing the date of travel.”

WestJet says it is contacting all guests whose itineraries have been affected by the delay and to contact them if you have any question.

The revised launch date for the direct route between PG and Calgary is June, 20th, 2018.
