Over 200 students are taking part in this years CNC Regional Skills Competition and Trades Day.
This provides an opportunity for students from elementary schools, high schools and CNC to participate in a number of different skills in categories like automotive, robotics and woodwork
“They[students] get to design and build and test something and you know a project that’s real worldish. It’s fun, hands on learning. They get to do it in a post secondary that maybe they’ve never been in before.” – Director of Operations for Skills BC Rene Ragetli
The winners from this regional competitions will go on to provincials, and if they dominate in that they head to nationals.
