Anyone looking for a place to get rid of their Christmas tree can help out the city on the first weekend of January.
The Central Lions Club, with help from city crews, will be at the CN Centre chipping down trees for mulch.
The mulch will be spread through city parks and flower beds in the spring.
Trees can be recycled on January 6th and 7th from 10am to 4pm.
