Early December 16th, police were called to a home invasion on the 1300 block of Strathcona Avenue where a man had received significant, but not life-threatening injuries.
The Emergency Response Team was activated after the suspects fled to a residence in the 2200 block of Oak Street, where two male suspects were arrested without incident.
Julien Naseem Lazarre, 20, faces charges including attempted murder, armed robbery, break and enter, and fail to comply with recognizance x2.
Police believe the home invasion was targeted and that the public is not at risk.
The investigation is ongoing.
