A Prince George entertainer is getting serious about his run for city council.
Travis Shaw, aka Foxy De-Rossi, says he is one of Canada’s top drag queens, but in this race, he admits he’s running as an under-dog.
“The main goal I want to focus on this time is creating a brighter image for Prince George,” he says. “With a different perception, as well, because we’re known as the crime capital of Canada, but if anybody can change a perception, I can.”
Shaw also ran, unsuccessfully, in 2011 for a seat on city council.
