Prince George RCMP made an arrest last night after stopping a suspicious youth.
At about 10pm near the corner of 17th and Tamarack, a 16 year old was searched and found to have a sawed off and loaded .22 rifle concealed.
He was also carrying a machete and cannabis.
The youth is now facing charges of;
• Possess Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
• Carry Concealed Weapon
• Possess Weapon Dangerous to the Public (2 counts)
• Obstruct a Peace Officer
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Fail to Comply with Probation (4 counts)
The accused is originally from a small community northwest of Prince George, but is well known to the Prince George RCMP over the last year
