The Hart residents are being asked to conserve water tomorrow (Wednesday) as city crews tie-in a new water main to the existing supply line just north of North Nechako Road.
Supervising Engineer for the city of PG Heather Robertson says This operation is part of a major infrastructure project to enhance the city’s water system.
“This is a redundant supply that was identified in the master water network plan as a critical piece of infrastructure to provide that redundancy. It also will provide additional fire flows when we complete the PW 615 pump station upgrade.”
The project is taking place during a lower consumption period which is between 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) operations could result in water discolouration for some residents.
If this happens you’re being advised to run taps until the water is clear.
