The Prince George Spruce Kings (8-6-2-3) could not leapfrog Langley for first place in the Mainland Division Saturday, as they fell 2-1 on the road.
Kyle Johnson scored the lone goal for the Spruce Kings, his eighth of the year, while Jared Hovde picked up the only assist.
Prince George went zero-for-six with the man-advantage, and were outshot 21-19.
Prince George goalie Evan DeBrouwer managed 19 saves to earn third star of the game.

Even with the loss, the Spruce Kings maintain second place in their division.
