The Last day for Prince George’s referendum vote is taking place today.
This is the last time local residents can vote on the fate of two facilities.
The City has put the Main Fire Hall #1 and the Four Seasons Leisure Pool on display for the past few months, highlighting their reasons for the proposed new sites.
If the public is in favour of the changes, the 60-year-old fire hall would move next to the YMCA of Northern BC along Massey Drive, while the pool would be built across the street in the Days Inn parking lot.
Here are some of the places you can vote at:
- DP Todd Secondary School
- Edgewood Elementary School
- John McInnis Centre
- Malaspina Elementary School
- Kelly Road Secondary School
- Ron Brent Elementary School
- Vanway Elementary School
- Blackburn Elementary School
Voting ends at 8pm.
VISTA Radio will be broadcasting referendum results as they come in.
