Until more information or evidence is made available, RCMP are suspending the search for Jenny Lynn LaRocque.
Volunteers with Kamloops Search & Rescue have been searching in the Vanables Valley area, south of Ashcroft, for the better part of a week but were unsuccessful in finding LaRocque or any new evidence.
LaRocque’s dog was found in the Vanables Valley area on Sunday, October 15th, with the dog being in good health despite suffering minor injuries.
A day later her car was found on a rural road, however, LaRocque was not found.
Investigators say there is no reason to believe foul play was a factor.
LaRocque is described as:
- White
- 5’3″
- 99 lbs
- Green eyes
- Brown hair
Anyone with information about LaRocque or her whereabouts are being asked to contact PG RCMP or Crimestoppers.
This is the second time in a week Northern BC RCMP have suspended a search for a missing person.
