A trip out hunting went very wrong for a 16 year old Prince George resident last week.
Trent Seymour was out hunting near his home when a 22. calibre rifle went off accidentally.
The bullet caught him in the back and side, and doctors in Vancouver will now handle the delicate process of assessing the spinal damage, hoping he’ll be able to walk again.
Seymour’s family has opened a Facebook page and online fundraiser, with donations to support the family’s accommodations and medical costs have gotten over $1,700.
