New team brings new goals for cancer research

Prince George community leaders are coming together in order to raise five thousand dollars each for cancer research.

Brent Marshall and Sarah Trottier make up the first two members of the Relay for life dream team for the BC/Yukon division which Team Leader Helen Owen says have set even loftier goals for themselves:

“We have a lofty goal for this years Prince George Relay, of being the number one relay in Canada, and Brent Marshall has made a commitment to help us get there. So Brent has set himself a very lofty goal of fifty thousand dollars”

So far Prince George has brought in a whopping $557,000 during the the relay, which took place in May, and with help from the dream team could have the city take top spot in all of the country.
