Crews arrived on scene and gas is now under control and repairs will be made as soon as possible.
FortisBC was notified of a third-party gas line strike at 12:36pm.

A natural gas link leak in the Hart has FortisBC crews working diligently.
The leak happened just off the intersection of Highland Drive and Berwick Drive, causing closure on part of the streets.

“Right now our priority is keeping the area safe and getting the gas under control,” says Operations Supervisor Brian Deevy.
“That can vary from a short time to days.”
