Susan Scott joins race for council

Another resident has thrown her name into the race for city council.

Long-time citizen Susan Scott, a chaplain for Branch 43 of the Royal Canadian Legion announced she will run in November’s election for a seat on council.

She says her platform will focus on the multi-faceted of infrastructure.

“Both what’s above and what’s below the roads, I know that snow removal was certainly the hot-topic the other night at council and I look forward to becoming more informed about all the aspects of that,” she says.

Scott admits she doesn’t have any “magic answer” to the city’s issues but she says she’s eager to get involved in helping to make a change.
