Missing woman case now deemed as homicide

Local Mounties are continuing to investigate the case of a missing 55-year-old local woman.

Prince George RCMP are now treating the disappearance of Roberta Marie Sims, last seen by several witnesses at her 3rd Avenue on May 6th of this year, as a homicide.

The Serious Crimes Unit has since taken over the investigation, led by Constable Jessica Gilliam and Sergeant Todd Wilson.

In a statement, Wilson says her vehicle, a red 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer (pictured right) with the BC license plate BH248X, may have been used in the possible murder.
