The annual BC SPCA’s paws for a cause walk took place this weekend.
BCSPCA Branch Manager Angela McLaren says the turnout was better than expected.
“We actually got a lot more dogs this year than we actually saw from last year, and this year we saw a lot more shelter animals”
McLaren says nearly 300 people showed up with a variety of animals, and that the event raised well over their thirty thousand dollar goal to help end animal cruelty.
