PG RCMP swapped red serge for gym shorts to take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Officers, sheriffs, firefighters, and local athletes ran a 3.5 kilometer downtown track and raised $5,700 for Special Olympics BC

The funds raised help athletes, like Donny Issasc, with uniform, equipment, facility rental, and travel costs
Since 1981, the Torch Run has raised over $600 million for Special Olympics around the world That includes more than $3 million for over 4,600 BC athletes since 1990
